Holeg is best known for his collaboration in film music with Patrick Savage〔 as Savage & Spies notably for the cult horror film The Human Centipede (First Sequence) and James Caan's thriller The Outsider. Before his career in film music, Spies was best known as a leader and pioneer in the fusion of musical styles in the indie-music world since 1993. Headliner DJ of the first official electronic music tour in India he joined the Out Soon booking agency alonside techno stars Jeff Mills and Carl Cox. Experienced in international collaborations, Holeg Spies has constantly explored cultures and sound-worlds to forge his own unique and unconventional style.
